Administration of DNHDD) has announced 10 vacancies across various posts including Full Time Teacher, Part Time Teachers, Asst. Cook, Chowkidar, and Sweeper. The engagement is purely on a short-term contract (STC) basis. Eligible candidates can submit their offline applications by post, courier, email, or in person to the Department of Education, Samagra Shiksha on or before 19 October 2026 at 5:00 PM. The walk-in interview is scheduled for 22 October 2026.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualifications:

• Full-Time Teacher (Social Science - Marathi Medium): Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education; OR at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.; OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as per NCTE norms; OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education). Candidates must have passed CTET or TET conducted by Central or State Government and studied in Marathi medium at Secondary level.
• Part Time Teacher (TGT/PGT - Social Science / Science-Maths - Gujarati Medium): Post Graduate from recognized University in respective subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution; OR Post Graduate with at least 50% marks in respective subject and B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from NCTE recognized institution. Medium of study in SSC should be Gujarati.
• Part Time Teacher (Physical Education Teacher): Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution; OR Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution.
• Part Time Teacher (Art Teacher): 12th pass with a minimum 2-years Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Fine Art; OR Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art/Drawing & Painting/Commercial Art/Applied Art from recognized institution. Desirable knowledge of Marathi.
• Asst. Cook: 4th std. passed and experience in Cooking.
• Chowkidar: 10th std. passed or has at least attempted SSC.
• Sweeper: 4th std. passed.

Age Limit and Relaxations

Age limit is not exceeding 30 years for posts 1 to 5. Upper age limit is relaxable as per orders/guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Selection Process

The engagement will be made through a Walk-in-Interview scheduled for 22 October 2026 starting at 10:00 am onwards at the Department of Education, Samagra Shiksha, Room 312, 3rd floor, Lekha Bhavan 66Kv Road, Amli, Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Candidates shall appear along with all original documents/certificates for verification. No TA/DA shall be admissible to candidates appearing for the Walk-in-Interview.
