THDC Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 10 Senior Manager & DGM Posts

THDC India Limited, a prominent power sector public sector undertaking, has announced its Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 06/2026. The recruitment aims to fill a total of 10 regular vacancies for highly experienced professionals in the roles of Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Additional General Manager across Finance and Human Resources disciplines. This is a significant opportunity for seasoned executives seeking leadership positions in a reputed central public sector enterprise. The online application process commenced on 07 October 2026 and will remain open until 06 November 2026.

The vacancies are distributed across six distinct posts. For Finance, there are two posts of Senior Manager (E-6 Grade), two posts of Deputy General Manager (E-7 Grade), and one post of Additional General Manager (E-8 Grade). Similarly, for Human Resources, there are two posts of Senior Manager (E-6 Grade), two posts of Deputy General Manager (E-7 Grade), and one post of Additional General Manager (E-8 Grade). The reservation roster includes positions for UR and OBC candidates as per government norms. Selected candidates may be posted or transferred to any of the projects, stations, offices, joint ventures, or subsidiaries of THDCIL across India.

Eligibility for Finance positions requires candidates to be CA or CMA qualified from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. For HR positions, candidates must possess a full-time MBA with specialization in HRM, HRD, or HRM with minimum 60% marks, or a Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, or Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks, or a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in PM&IR or Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks, or a Masters in Social Work or MHROD from a recognized university. An LLB qualification is desirable for HR roles.

Experience requirements are substantial. Senior Manager (Finance/HR) positions require 13 years of post-qualification executive experience, with at least 2 years in the immediate lower grade. Deputy General Manager positions require 17 years of experience, and Additional General Manager positions require 21 years of experience, each with specific grade requirements. The upper age limit is 48 years for Senior Manager, 50 years for Deputy General Manager, and 53 years for Additional General Manager, with the cut-off date being 07 October 2026. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years depending on category), J&K domiciled candidates (5 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per government guidelines, provided the maximum age does not exceed 58 years.

The pay scales are attractive, ranging from Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,80,000 depending on the grade. Additional General Manager (E-8) receives Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,80,000, Deputy General Manager (E-7) receives Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 2,60,000, and Senior Manager (E-6) receives Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,40,000. The compensation package includes basic pay, dearness allowance, perquisites and allowances at 35% of basic pay, performance-related pay, company leased accommodation or HRA, conveyance reimbursement, mobile facility, loans and advances, medical facilities, group insurance, PF, gratuity, pension, and post-retirement medical benefits.

The application fee is Rs. 600 for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates, payable online through SBIePay. SC, ST, PwBDs, Ex-Servicemen, Departmental candidates, and Doob Kshetra or Project Affected Area families are exempt from paying any fee. The selection process consists solely of a Personal Interview. The marks obtained in the interview will be used to draw the final merit list. No candidate securing less than 50% marks will be empanelled, and empanelment will be in order of merit.

Interested candidates must apply online through the official THDC career portal. They should fill in basic information, academic details, professional qualifications, and experience details accurately. Required documents include a scanned photograph, signature, Class X and XII marksheets, degree certificates, experience certificates, category certificates, and for private sector candidates, Form 16 for FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26 along with payslips and a CTC certificate. After successful submission, candidates should take a printout of the completed application form for future reference. It is important to keep the registered email ID and mobile number active for at least one year as all communications will be sent via email or SMS.
