- Step 1: Create an account via rrbapply.gov.in using a valid mobile number and personal email ID. Existing OTR credentials from 2024/2025 RRB cycles can be used directly.
- Step 2: Submit a separate online application and clear separate fees for each individual Pay Level (Level-5 and Level-2). Choose only One single RRB zone per Pay Level.
- Step 3: Capture a Live Photograph at the time of filling the application form using a webcam or front camera of mobile phone. Wear non-white dark clothing against a clean background; do not wear caps, masks, or spectacles.
- Step 4: Upload a crisp scanned image of your signature written with a black ink pen on white paper in cursive handwriting (Size: 30-49 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
- Step 5: SC/ST candidates who wish to avail free railway travel pass must upload a scanned copy of their SC/ST certificate in PDF format (Size under 400 KB).
- Step 6: Pay the application fee online via Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI. Submit the form before 29 July 2026 at 23:59 hours.

For Technician Grade-III posts, candidates need Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions in the respective trade, or Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA). Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates awaiting final semester results are not eligible. Applying to multiple RRB zones for the same Pay Level leads to disqualification. Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery are ineligible for posts requiring A3 Medical Standard. The exam city information will be available 10 days before the exam, and admit cards 4 days before.
