Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Resident: MBBS Degree from a recognized institution.

• Demonstrator: M.Sc Degree and Ph.D in the same subject (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology, or Microbiology) as per NMC norms.

Age Limit: The age limit is as prescribed under ESIC/NMC rules and guidelines for the respective post. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Pay Scale and Contract Terms

Both posts carry pay equivalent to Level 10 of the 7th CPC, with other allowances as applicable. The initial engagement is for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years or until the joining of a Bonded Junior Resident, whichever is earlier. The engagement is purely temporary and does not confer any right to regular appointment. Private practice is not permitted.

Selected candidates must submit a security deposit of Rs. 20,000/- via demand draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at Faridabad. The deposit is refundable only after completing at least six months of service; otherwise, it is forfeited.

Application Fee

A fee of Rs. 500/- is applicable for candidates other than those exempted. SC/ST, Female, Ex-Servicemen, and PH candidates are exempted from paying the fee. The fee must be paid by demand draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at Faridabad. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection process involves:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: A committee will verify educational qualifications, age, registration, reservation, and other eligibility conditions.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. The date, time, and venue will be notified on the official ESIC website.
3. Written Test: Depending on the number of eligible applications, ESIC may conduct a written test based on the MBBS curriculum. Qualifying marks are 50%. The test date and venue will be announced on the website.
