Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a four-year B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree in Horticulture from a recognized university or an ICAR-accredited university.

Age Limit

The expected age limit is 18 to 42 years. However, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has increased the upper age limit for direct recruitment to Non-Uniform Services from 42 years to 44 years, as per G.O.Ms.No.187 released on 14 September 2026. This relaxation is extended up to 30 September 2027. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Andhra Pradesh Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a single-level examination. No screening test will be conducted irrespective of the number of applications received. The examination will be held in online Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode.

Exam Pattern

The objective-type written examination at Degree standard consists of a qualifying test in General English and General Telugu, followed by three objective papers: General Studies & Mental Ability, Horticulture-I, and Horticulture-II.
