UTET 2026 Application Fees
For General/OBC candidates, the fee for a single paper (UTET I or II) is ₹600, and for both papers (UTET I & II) it is ₹1000. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the fee for a single paper is ₹300, and for both papers it is ₹500. Fees can be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
UTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (UTET – I): Passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks along with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC). OR Class 12th Pass with 50% marks + 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Graduation Degree with a 2-Year D.El.Ed/BTC Diploma.
Upper Primary Level (UTET – II): Graduation Degree with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks along with a 1-Year or 2-Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/Shiksha Shastri). OR Class 12th Pass with 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed integrated degree.
UTET 2026 Exam Pattern
The examination will consist of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The total duration for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- UTET-I (Classes I to V): Child Development & Pedagogy (30 Q), Language I (30 Q), Language II (30 Q), Mathematics (30 Q), Environmental Studies (30 Q). Total: 150 Questions, 150 Marks.
- UTET-II (Classes VI to VIII): Child Development & Pedagogy (30 Q), Language I (30 Q), Language II (30 Q), Subject Specific (Maths & Science OR Social Studies) (60 Q). Total: 150 Questions, 150 Marks.
