The Uttar Pradesh Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare (DGMHUP) has officially published the Selected Candidate Merit List for the UP ANM Training Programme Admissions 2026. This admission drive covers 1,800 training seats distributed across 36 government ANM Training Centres (ANMTC) in Uttar Pradesh. Only female candidates are eligible for this programme. Candidates who submitted their online applications between 01 July 2026 and 31 July 2026 can now check and download the provisional shortlist and merit list of selected candidates.

Important Dates and Application Fee

The application window for the ANM Training Programme was open from 01 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. The last date for fee payment was also 31 July 2026. The much-awaited Selected Candidates / Merit List was released on 18 September 2026. The document verification and admission dates will be communicated as per the seat allotment schedule.

The application fee was kept affordable: General category candidates paid Rs. 200/-, while OBC, SC, and ST candidates paid Rs. 100/-. Payments were accepted online through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Age Limit and Eligibility Criteria

The age limit for admission is calculated as on 31 December 2025. The minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. Upper age relaxation is admissible for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per Uttar Pradesh ANM Training admission rules.

Eligibility requirements for the ANM Training Programme are:

• Only female candidates are eligible.
• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate examination from any recognized Board in India.
• Minimum 45% aggregate marks for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
• Minimum 40% aggregate marks for SC and ST candidates.

Seat Distribution Across 36 ANM Training Centres

The 1,800 training seats are evenly distributed, with 50 seats at each of the 36 government ANM Training Centres. These centres are located across various districts including Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Ballia, Banda, Bareilly, Basti, Bijnor, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Gorakhpur, Hapur, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lakhimpur, Lucknow, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Mathura, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Raebareli, Rampur, Saharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Sultanpur, and Varanasi (two centres). This wide distribution ensures accessibility for candidates from different regions of Uttar Pradesh.

Selection Process and Admission Guidelines

The selection process for ANM Training Admission 2026 is purely merit-based. There is no entrance examination or written test. The merit list is prepared based on the aggregate percentage of marks scored in High School (10th) and Intermediate (10+2).

The Department published the list of shortlisted candidates on 18 September 2026. Selected candidates must report to their allotted ANM Training Centre along with original certificates, a medical fitness certificate, caste/domicile proofs, and passport photographs within the stipulated counselling window. Failure to report on time may lead to cancellation of candidature.
